1 Underemployed means professionals earning less than the equivalent of USD$2,000/month.
2 Who does that include? Individuals who come from non-white non-European communities who are historically underrepresented in academia. We do not require formal documentation or official affiliation with a tribe to register with the Indigenous registration rate.
All fees are in US dollars. There is no registration fee for caregivers.
- Registration & Fieldtrips: 30 days prior to the start date of the conference
- Banquet: 14 days prior to the start date of the conference
- Requests for Refunds should be sent to treasurer@ethnobiology.org.
Visa/Invitation Letter Requests and Conference Waivers
You are required to LOG IN to access the Visa/Invitation Letter Request Form and the Conference Fee Waiver Application Form. Additionally for the Visa/Invitation Letter Request Form, you will need to SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT to access the form after logging in. If you do not have a user account you may CREATE one. *NOTE: You will be required to validate your account request by clicking the log in link in the "Account details" email you will receive when you register.
Visa/Invitation Letter Requests and Conference Fee Waiver Applications are due December 1, 2023. We will send out visa/invitation letters for all accepted applicants/abstracts by December 15 to account for currently longer visa processing times.
