Virtual Participation

Virtual attendees will access Zoom links to the live sessions by logging in to the SoE website and navigating to the Registrants Only tab. All registrants who did not already have a user account (e.g., SoE members) would have had one created when they registered for the conference, and should have received an Account Details email with login information, at the time that they registered. If you did not receive an Account Details email you can have a login link emailed to you by entering the email address you used to register in the Request New Password form. Click the link in the Replacement login information email to log in and set a password on your account (check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox). If you need assistance logging in or accessing the Registrants Only area, please contact the SoE Webmaster.

To ensure the security of the conference platforms, please do not share conference links and login details with people who are not registered for this year’s conference. If you know someone who would like to access the conference, please encourage them to register. All are welcome—members and non-members alike. You can register to attend the conference virtually here: https://ethnobiology.org/conference/upcoming/registration

All oral sessions, including the Plenary session, the roundtables, and the virtual poster session will be livestreamed and the Zoom sessions will be recorded. We will post links to the session recordings on the Registrants Only page.

There are also two workshops that virtual participants can attend via Zoom:

  • Reviewing Books and More: Workshop with Reviewers, Readers, and Editors: Wednesday April 24, 14:00–16:00 (UTC-5)
  • Hearing Humus: Wednesday April 24, 16:00–17:00 (UTC-5)

Both of these workshops are free.

Links to pre-recorded presentations and virtual posters will be accessible to conference registrants when they are logged in to the website. These links will appear on the Program page with the presentation details (click on the presentation title to reveal the details with links).
