UPDATE: Due to additional funds now becoming available, the Society of Ethnobiology is re-opening applications for the Indigenous People’s Conference Travel Award. Applicants for this award include all Indigenous persons presenting at this year’s joint meeting of the Society of Ethnobiology and Society of Economic Botany, June 3-6, 2018. This is a $450 grant. The award also includes a registration waiver and a year of online membership (to begin after award has been granted).

Interested applicants should send their conference presentation title, abstract, and a current c.v. or resumé to: awards@ethnobiology.org.

The Society of Ethnobiology is pleased to announce a call for applications for one of our newest awards, the Indigenous People’s Conference Travel Award. Monies are to support travel for a presentation at the annual Society of Ethnobiology’s conference by an Indigenous person. This is a $450 grant. Award also includes a registration waiver and a year of online membership (to begin after award has been granted). Applicants cannot have received another SoE award within the past three years.
