The 45th Annual Conference of the Society of Ethnobiology in St. Louis, MO, Apr 24–27, 2024

We encourage attendees to PLEASE pre-purchase a boxed lunch by April 9, 2024 extended to April 12, 2024 4:00pm CST using this form. This is the best way to ensure that there will be food available for you during the short conference lunch break. In particular, those participating in the Student Mentor Lunch and/or a lunchtime roundtable, will want to pre-order lunch as there will not be time to wait in line after the morning sessions and before these events begin. While the Missouri Botanical Garden has the Sassafras Cafe on-site and a few restaurants and eateries within walking distance (see map) these will have limited capacity to accommodate large numbers of patrons at once.

We are pleased to offer the following three options for boxed lunches* for conference participants, courtesy of Catering St. Louis:

• “Super Foods” Salad Bowl: Combo of quinoa, kale, edamame, chickpeas, dried cherries, fresh blueberries, and sunflower seeds over fresh greens with balsamic vinaigrette (vegan, gluten-free)
• Ottoman Garden Salad: Fresh greens, heirloom tomato, cucumber, red onion. house olives, marinated feta, lemon za’atar vinaigrette, pita wedges (vegetarian)
• Turkey, Avocado, and Tomato Sandwich: Hand-carved premium roast turkey, avocado, heirloom tomato, Emmenthaler, Dijonnaise, rye bread

*Box lunches include kettle chips, a cookie and canned soda. Price: USD$14.40
