There are varied accommodation options near the conference venue on the University of British Columbia campus. While you will be able to find air bnb’s off campus, and of course many hotels downtown, getting to campus would require a bus ride that would take any where from 10 - 40 minutes.

We have reserved a block of rooms at three places on campus. However, we haven’t reserved enough rooms to accommodate all conference participants. Since accommodations on campus are limited, we strongly suggest that you reserve your rooms early —by 1 February the lastest. After this time, rooms will start booking up for the many other scheduled campus events. Note that our group room bookings will be relased by early April. After that time, the Society will get charged for any unbooked rooms.

Interested in sharing accommodation? or have accommodations in your Vancouver home to offer to visiting ethnobiologists? Visit the Conference Room Share Message Board to arrange room shares. **Please note: you need to be registered for the conference and logged in to the website in order to access the message board.**
