We are excited to announce that the Society of Ethnobiology’s 2025 Conference will be at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe located in Incline Village, NV from May 21–24th, 2025.
The theme will be Traversing Ethnobiology Across Depths and Heights reflective of the incredible landscapes of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. The campus is located on the traditional lands and territories of the Wašiw (Washoe) Tribe who have lived in and cared for this region for generations.
We will begin accepting session, workshop and field trip proposals as well as travel award applications in the next couple of weeks. Registration and abstract submission will also be available soon on our website—stay tuned! For now, please mark your calendars for May 21–24th!
