Current popular and scholarly interests in food gardening are growing like… well, you know, and are yielding bumper crops of studies, accounts, advice, and interest groups.  This ongoing survey of food gardening interests in a Midwestern college town reveals that rather than being a monocrop, the Food Movement is characterized by an intensive intercropping of diverse interests and concerns ranging from a focus on stress relief and self-determination to survivalist efforts preparing for TEOTWAWKI.
