Student Events
Student Social: On the evening of Thursday May 9th (5:30–6:30 pm), the SoE Student Committee invites you to mingle with other students and enjoy light refreshments. Location: Koerner's Pub.
Student mentor lunch: Students are invited to have lunch with established ethnobiologists for networking and wisdom during our lunch break on May 9th at 12:15 - 1:30 in Geog #101. Pre-registration will be required to ensure that there will be food for everyone. The cost for the lunch is $14.00 USD. We will provide a variety of lunch options. Register by April 30, 2019 to ensure yourself a spot at the annual Student-Mentor Luncheon.
You must be registered for the conference to attend this lunch.
Don't forget to nominate candidates for the 2019 SoE Mentor Award. Once we have a list of nominees, online voting will open to all student members. We will present the mentor award at the 42nd Annual Meeting. Please send Alex McAlvay (mcalvay@cornell.edu) a paragraph describing why you would like to nominate your mentor by April 26, 2019.
