Conference Fee Waivers
The Society of Ethnobiology is offering a limited number of waivers for people presenting papers or posters at the 2018 conference in Madison, Wisconsin. This waiver covers the cost of registration and allows submission of an abstract without becoming a Society member.
We encourage applications for waivers from indigenous scholars and people of diverse backgrounds that are in financial need. Applicants who have received a waiver from the Society within the past three years are not eligible. Applicants should submit their abstract for the conference while applying for the waiver. Winners will receive a reimbursement for their registration fees once awards are announced.
If you would like to be considered for such a waiver, please fill out the following application form prior to March 31, 2018. Consideration will be given based on the order in which applications are received.
