Conference Memorabilia Orders

This year’s conference organizers have already taken several actions towards greater inclusivity. This includes co-organizing the conference with local Indigenous leaders, increasing the number of registration waivers, co-creating field trips with Indigenous groups, and creating inviting intellectual and physical spaces at the conference. But we need your help! Please visit the Donate page on the Society’s website to select the fund and the amount that you would like to give. Any amount that you are able to give will will be appreciated. The funds donated to this effort will be earmarked and used specifically to help fund Indigenous, traditional, rural, and minority persons to attend the 2019 Conference in Vancouver.
We mourn the tragic loss of our fellow ethnobiologist and friend, Jessica Mae Orozco. Please consider giving to the Jessica M Orozco Fund for James. James is Jessica's nephew who she adopted as her own son. At a very young 10 years old, James has lost his dear mother and he needs our support. We would like to encourage members of the Society of Ethnobiology to give to the Jessica M Orozco Fund for James that was established by Jessica's friends and colleagues among whom are members and friends of our Society. Jessica left us a lot of information about her work as an ethnobiologist, botanist, plant taxonomist, and more on her WordPress site.
